I encountered 2 little surprises while going to work this morning. The first was this sign, which I must have passed thousands of time without ever paying attention to:

Ohmygawd Ibu Sum…and I guess Pak Gubernur issued that special SK with the special-easy-to remember number because he is a satisfied customer of yours, perhaps? Tsk tsk. One look at that sign and I could memorise the SK number instantly. To think that the last SK I saw was numbered something like No. XX-2004/SK-REK/XIV-217/tralala/trilili/not-a-single-easy-digit-to-remember.
The second was I caught the end of a pop song, Love Me For A Reason, aired on a broadcast station. A sappy sweet song that makes your teeth ache. I haven’t heard that song for 10 years, maybe. Hearing it on air reminded me of the last days my Grandma spent on earth.
