Day 19: Driving Around

In the morning R drove me to work, it is his mid-term holiday week. He needed the car to go to the tax office, I was having a half-day work because later in the day I had to go to a workshop.

He agreed to pick me up from the workshop. What we didn't know was that flood from the day before was still at rage in places between our house and the university where the workshop was held.

I waited in that university, watching other people leave. Almost completely alone save for two college girls, when he finally arrived. And oh, the driving home took forever.

We went the usual way, and found out that it was heavily jammed due to flood. We took the highway: the sign said "Airport".

Only we didn't go to the airport. It was a long way, "west outer ring road", another sign said. I touched R's shoulder, telling him I didn't know where we were.

What I didn't tell him was that I felt safe, and as long as it was with him, I didn't really mind not knowing where we were.
